As we celebrate World Standards Day on October 14, 2024, we wholeheartedly embrace this year’s theme, "Standards for SDGs," which highlights the vital role standards play in advancing the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As a technical institution guided by the vision of “consultation, co-construction, sharing, and joint use,” this theme is perfectly aligned with our mission. CASIC is dedicated to fostering global cooperation, believing that standards not only improve safety and quality but also serve as a powerful engine for innovation across the automotive industry.
As the automotive industry rapidly moves toward electrification, intelligence, and sustainability, we will continue to work closely with ISO, IEC, ITU, UNECE, and other key stakeholders to advance standardization processes that support these transformative technologies.
We are committed to partnering with global entities to integrate standards with sustainable development, contributing to the achievement of the UN's 2030 SDGs and strengthening the connection between China's automotive industry and the global market.
