On February 18, 2020, with the joint efforts of the governments and industries of China and Switzerland, the "China Automobile Standards Internationalization Center (Geneva) ", also known as CASIC (Geneva), was officially established in Geneva, Switzerland. The establishment ceremony was held in Tianjin in June 2021, and personnel were actually dispatched to Geneva in July 2021, achieving official operation.
After nearly three years of development, the CASIC has basically achieved two stages of goals: "being able to go out" and "being able to stand up".
The current office address of the CASIC is located at Boulevard Helvétique 36 in the city center of Geneva, with 3 permanent staff in Geneva. Financial, legal and other matters have achieved localized management. There are currently 11 member and with over 100 registered experts, achieving efficient integration with international organizations related to automotive standards and regulations, as well as comprehensive coverage of international standards and regulations such as UNECE, ISO, IEC, ITU, WTO, WIPO, etc
