CASIC (Geneva), China Automobile Standards Internationalization Center (Geneva), is the first standardization specialized agency in overseas established by China's automobile industries in collaboration with various stakeholders and it is registered as a "Non-Profit Organization" in Geneva, Switzerland, 2020.
With an concept of”Openness Cooperation Integration Contribution”, CASIC will be fully geared to and deeply participate in the formulation and harmonization of UN, ISO and IEC international standards and regulations, build the bridge that enables the cooperation between international organizations, institutes and relevant industries.
CASIC adheres to the principles of extensive consultation, joint contribution, shared benefits and co-development and is managed according to clear Article of Association. Within CASIC, there are General Meeting, Members Council, Committee, Secretariat, Technical Working Group etc. CASIC has diversified partnership of members, observers and cooperation partners, organizing domestic and foreign experts to participate in the internationalization of standards and regulations. committing to contribute Chinese wisdom to the development of international automotive standards and regulations, and benifit the globalization and sustainable development of the automotive industry and human beings through the internationalization of automotive standards and regulations.
